Kids’ Room

Year:
The challenge of this project was to design a multifunctional and playful kids’ room within a limited footprint, while maintaining a calm and timeless aesthetic.
The layout includes a cozy sleeping area located beneath a tapanco-style loft, taking advantage of the room’s vertical space. Above, a small, secure play area is tucked into the upper portion of the pitched roof — designed as a quiet, elevated zone where children can play safely and independently.
The material palette is kept neutral, with light wood tones and soft finishes to create a serene atmosphere. Accents in a soft blue tone bring a subtle touch of color and identity to the space. A custom climbing wall, designed in the same blue hues, becomes a playful architectural feature — encouraging activity and imagination while visually tying into the room’s overall color and design language.
